You can add an insert with drainage holes if you don't want to drill holes in the fountain or bath. Then proceed using as a planter.

An old fountain would look very pretty with trailing plants. Each section can be filled with soil, but be sure to allow for drainage.

Just add Gravel at the bottom and then soil and Plants. Good luck!
