To get ceramic tiles to stick on laminate countertops requires proper preparation work.
do you have the tools & materials to do this?
if not, they will fail after a couple of years.

Hi Melba, we stuck floor tiles down on our wooden countertops many, many, many years ago and it was one of the best things we ever did. They're easy to clean, hardwearing, and look beautiful. You do need to seal the grout though. You can read more about that here - https://gzunino.wordpress.com/2009/12/13/sealing-grout-on-a-countertop/
If you are asking if it is possible, yes it is.
Yes, Melba,
Use Tiles but don't fit tile on top of tile, space them so they are not exactly over the old tiles. Enjoy!

Are you sure you want to do this, I have done this and the tile cracks eventually. Why not try to purchase inexpensive remnants of sheets of wood or quartz here is a good article https://marble.com/articles/15-cheap-countertop-materials
Yes. Of course, the process will depend on what your countertop is now.
You can definitely do this but keep a few things in mind. First, the weight of adding cement board and tile is going to be heavy so make sure your counter tops can support the extra weight. Next, grout is hard to keep clean so you will need to seal and re-seal often to keep the area clean.
Tiles work great for countertops. Be sure to use a couple applications of grout sealer.
