I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish. Is this on furniture after it is stained or painted?

It depends on the finish you're using, but usually applying a finish, letting it dry, and find sanding it leads to a smooth finish. You will probably need to do a few coats and I like to finish with fine steel wool (0000).

Please resubmit your question and tell us what you want a glass finish on. Paint, floor? We don't know what you are trying to accomplish.
Glass finish on what exactly? Please tell us more.
Hi William, the smoothest finish is usaully accomplished by using spray paint on the surface of your object. Two to three light coats work very well if you follow the directions on the can regarding distance and shaking the can well before applying the paint. Hope this helps! Rustoleum brand spray paint is awesome and comes in a vareity of colors as well as formulas for painting on different surfaces. Hope this helps with your project!
