Easy Winter Decor Idea

I love adding cozy items and layers to my home during the cold Winter months here in Michigan. And I love candles so why not bring the three together. That is just what I did here, and it is super easy!

You just need an old sweater or textured material and a cylinder vase. I got mine at the dollar store.

I found the part of the seater I liked best to cover the vase. I wanted lots of texture so I started cutting the collar off and then another area I thought looked nice.

I measured my material around the vase. I just layed it down and rolled the vase until it was covered to know where to cut.

I used my handy dandy spray glue from the dollar store and sprayed the piece of fabric. And then put it around the vase. Make sure to roll top and bottom under if you want it to look finished.

And then I did use a little bit of hot glue at the top and bottom just to help it while the spray glue dried and held the fabric on good.

There it is. I put a battery operated candle inside the vase. At night it looks so pretty and cozy. Just the effect I was going for.
