Hello. Here’s a link that will give you some additional visual tiles to examine to see if there’s a technique and results that you like.
Personally I think it would be easiest to put paint in a syringe get to the top corner of the wall and made it drip and run down.
I hope some of these thumbnails can give you a direct link to the technique that you hope to produce .

After you seal baseboard with tape and put down dropcloth you can either just load up a brush with paint and dab on the wall allowing the paint to flow or, use small containers like empty yogurt container and pour it slowly moving across to allow a small amount of paint to begin to drip. If you want it to drip farther continue in that spot allowing it to follow the same path downward.

Hello there,
I have never done it, but imagine you fill a brush with the colour you want (or it could be a squirt container) and put it at the top of the wall and either squirt or let it drip !
Have fun.

This is applied on furniture, but maybe you could get some tips for application or products. https://www.hometalk.com/diy/paint/furniture/drip-technique-with-dixie-belle-paint-36510054
Drip Technique With Dixie Belle Paint
Hi Elaina. What a good idea. I'm hoping you will post it here on Home Talk. To the dripping wall we go. I would use a squirt bottle to apply the paint. (Just like the squirt bottles for mustard and ketchup.) Fill it two-thirds full with paint. Then add enough water to finish filling the bottle. After you tape off the baseboard and, yes, the ceiling too. You can begin at the top of the wall and squirt the paint to see how far it will reach. Continue until the entire wall is dripping. Good luck Elaina.
Maybe you can use this same technique on your walls: https://www.hometalk.com/diy/paint/furniture/drip-technique-with-dixie-belle-paint-36510054
