Are you searching for a few easy tricks to keep your small bathroom space organized? Don’t worry, I’ve got you. Nothing frustrates me more than a room that lacks storage and in a bathroom, there’s a lot of things to store. From shower organizers, to bins, baskets, and hooks, these ideas make bathroom storage effective and effortless.

1. Install a shower organizer

There’s so many things that need to be stored in the actual shower itself. Shampoos, conditioners, soaps, face wash, foot scrub, hair masks, etc. Then if you have kids, add in bath bombs, bubble bath, toys, and probably some more things I’m forgetting about.

All this to say, it’s the perfect place to add some shelves.

This tension rod self fits super snugly in the corner of the shower surround and holds a ton of items. The shelves are adjustable, meaning you can move them up or down depending on your preference.

2. GET A TOY ORGANIZER

See that cute little blue pocket hanging from the bottom shelf there, it’s a toy organizer. These are great for containing all the bath toys and the mesh allows the water to dry off of them.

While this one is just clipped to the bottom shelf of the shower caddy using a carabiner type clip, there are many organizers available that simply suction cup to the wall of the shower.

3. ADD AN OVER-THE-TOILET CABINET

If you let the wall space above your toilet go to waste, you’re missing out on a ton of storage opportunities.

This cabinet is free standing and has legs that go on either side of the toilet. It has anchors that screw into the wall which make it super sturdy.

It can hold extra towels, soaps, toilet paper, or basically anything you can fit inside. Plus the door shut, keeping your clutter out of sight.

4. UTILIZE BINS AND BASKETS

Bins and baskets, bins and baskets, bins and baskets.

Such a vital part of bathroom storage, these are perfect for storing and stashing small items like feminine products, finger nail clippers, medicine syringes, and all the other bathroom odds and ends.

Acrylic drawers like the ones pictured make great use of vertical space within cabinets. While opaque baskets will contain the clutter and give your bathroom more of an organized and relaxing appearance.

5. HANG WALL SHELVes

Be sure to measure and pick your shelves out based on what you will need to be storing on them. These ones aren’t very deep, but will still hold a few extra towels and the hand soap.

Toothbrushes in a decorative cup, glass jars with cotton swabs or rounds, or even extra TP rolls would be adorable and functional on these shelves.

Some people even opt to hang wall shelving above the door to utilize the dead space there. Go for it, just make sure you’re tall enough to reach items you stash up there, or have a stool handy.

6. ADD towel hooks

Keep wet bath towels off the floor with towel hooks.

Over the door towel hooks are a great option for renters or homeowners who don’t like the idea of putting holes in the wall. Another, more permanent, option is to hang a coat rack with hooks on the wall. If you have the space for it, of course.
