Amaryllis?

Hi there, you can cut the leaves and the flower stalk, if you have any to about 2.5 cm (1") from the top of the bulb. Water and feed the bulb after cutting and it should be fine.

You should be fine, just make sure to keep the care up to make sure the bulb survives.

I've dug up amaryllis bulbs and put them in a brown bag and stores in my cool basement and then replanted the next year and they've been fine.
