As you probably know by now, I love making wreaths. Today is a DIY Grapevine Wreath with Bells This wreath is more of a rustic charmer but love that you can also use it in more transitional spaces.

Supplies:
  • Grapevine Wreath Preferrable a 14 to 18 inch one
  • Hanging Iron Bells preferably in bronze or brass
  • Faux Pine Greenery
  • Twine or Brown Rope
  • Floral Wire
  • Floral Scissor/Cutter

Optional:
  • Spray Paint

Starting out, I had to spray paint my bells to the bronze brass color I wanted. You do not have to do this step if have bells in the color you are going for. The ones I got were a steal at $6, so I could not pass it up. I used  Rustoleum Metallic Spray Paint in Champagne Bronze.

Next choose what side of the wreath you want to be the top. Grapevine wreaths tend not to be completely proportioned due to the materials used to make them. Lay wreath on flat surface and place the faux greens in a symmetrical descending pattern on both sides from the top middle.

Once you are satisfied with placement, attach florals using floral wire to the wreath form.

The bells should be dried by this time. Attach re-attach twine to the bells in a manner that they are hanging at various heights.

Final step is to wrap twine around the top of the wreath to cover the imperfections from the floral wire and stems.

Your DIY grapevine wreath with bells is done and ready to hang.

This was fun and easy to make.
