How can I paint Formica table top?

I have a beautiful and functional farm table that has a Formica top. I would love to use it our game room as a board game table.  How do I start?

I would purchase a countertop painting kit like Giani. It can be used for formica counter tops so it should work for that as well.

Formica is a brand name for laminate. Just like Xerox copies instead of photo copy.

The most important step is the prep. Make sure they are perfectly clean and then use a maximum adhesion primer like Bondz from Zinsser.
