One More Time~

I know some form of this question has been asked and answered. Many times. But here comes another one-
I have VERY LITTLE money. My furniture has been in storage for 9 months. I’m getting it in a few days. A lot of it is wooden. Really old wood. I know it’s gonna need to be wiped down. But am wondering if anyone knows any of the “home” DIY cleaning solutions that might also be a good idea for my stuff?

What type of storage environment has the furniture been in?
Has it been covered at all?
Is the furniture going to be just dusty, or will it be dirty enough to need a solid cleaning before beginning to use it again?

Since much of it is wood furniture, Murphy's Oil Soap does a good job, follow the bottle directions. For a lighter cleaning and polishing I recommend Orange Glo.

Thank you! But I didn’t see a link. What kind of oil & vinegar was used?? This is exactly the kind of “home” stuff I was asking about. Thank you!!!

Not a problem at all. There should be a link right after my comment first. I can see it so maybe your device isn't allowing you to see it for some reason? Here it is though, maybe it will show up this time. I'm so sorry you weren't able to see it! https://www.hometalk.com/1975029/use-oil-and-vinegar-to-clean-wood-furniture

From the link and blog
So, I mixed up some vinegar and canola oil. I used 3/4 cup oil, and 1/4 cup white vinegar and mixed it up in an old spaghetti sauce jar.

I use vinegar, lemon juice and a tad of olive oil. Shines it up and gets rid of the odor. If the odor is really bad, I leave it in the sun for a few hours each day. Works great.

Basically like an outdoor room with a garage door. Not climate controlled. Not covered. Jam packed in there. As excited as I am to once again have my things....I’m kinda dreading it
