Let your whole tribe know you love them GNOME matter what with these Valentine’s Day Gnome Stuffies! Quick and easy to make in just about 30 minutes but with limited sewing. Stuff with soft Poly-Fil, make a bean bag with Poly-Pellets or combine the two for a one of a kind creation!
For small Gnome, measure and cut a 4.5” by 9” rectangle (hat) and a 2.5” by 9” rectangle (body) from Kunin Felt, sew together using the presser foot as the seam allowance and then fold in half horizontally. For large Gnome, measure and cut a 6″ by 12″ rectangle (hat) and a 3″ by 12″ rectangle (body) from Kunin Felt, sew together using the presser foot as the seam allowance and then fold in half horizontally.
Download, print and cut out   VALENTINES DAY GNOME STUFFIES PATTERNS  Trace triangle body shape onto felt, and then sew, leaving a 2” opening at the bottom for stuffing.
Cut out Gnome with pinking shears, but on the outside edge of the sewn lines.
Stuff the hat section with Poly-Fil, but remember to use a pencil or chopstick to get the stuffing into the tippy top.
Insert mini zip bag into Gnome, fill with Poly-Pellets, zip closed, roll closure and then place inside.
Stuff bottom right and left corners with Poly-Fil.
Apply Fabri-Tac fabric glue to opening and then secure with a binder clip until dry.
Trace and then cut a heart-shaped beard from Poly-Fil Project Fleece.
Attach the beard to the Gnome and a pom pom nose to top center of beard with Fabri-Tac fabric glue.
Finally, Cut a tag from white cardstock, punch a hole at the end. Write a message on the tag and then cut a fishtail with scissors. Fold a 24” length of bakers twine in half and then tie in a bow around the top of the Gnome’s hat to finish.
Your Valentine's Day Gnome Stuffies are now complete! Customize the message and then leave your newly created Gnome out in the world for someone to find, just to brighten their day!
