Hello. I have seen this suggestion posted. I do not care for this paints look and have not tried this hack. It might be worth a try.
“You can make an already diluted unicorn spit and it works great. 3 parts acrylic craft paint, 2 parts Mop & Glo, and 2 parts water. You can make it up ahead of time and put into portion cups with lids.”
More than likely not, Unicorn Spit has unique blended properties with specific stains with a glaze. You could give Vimarhonor's recipe a try and see if it works for you.
No! Unicorn spit its own unique paint/dye. The colors are vibrant, there are so many cool techniques you can use it with, it is toxic free and it actually dyes wood, and not just paints.
Hi Amanda, it depends very much what you'd like to do. If you want to use it to stain wood, then acrylic paint doesn't work as well as Unicorn SPiT to penetrate the wood and give it that gorgeous stained wood grain effect. You can mix acrylic with lots of water to achieve a similar look, but the color pigment that gives acrylic it's color will become dilutes.
