Hello. This is a general Q&A posting area, I’m not sure I know which post you are asking about. Have you tired searching? That might get you back to the original post where you can ask the project designer.

If you ever want to go back to see a particular project, just click on the little blue house at the top of this page, left-hand corner. If you can't find a particular project, you can use the search bar. Also, please consider checking out "Explore Projects" for even more additional ideas.

With that being said I might guess about the project you’re doing. I have both used epoxy pours and Mod podge to secure my art into trays for decorative use. The Mod podge seal seems to be less durable for active use as a coaster.

The sealer you choose use for your picture might depend if it’s a display project or one that might need to take wear and tear. Another consideration....Mod podge might be a consideration as epoxy resin pours are very thick and distractingly glassy with reflections or glare.

    Hope this helps.

You may want to post this question on the project and add some photos. But in general, I am generous with E6000 and wipe away any excess.

  • If you find the project itself, you can ask the original poster directly. Generally though, I use ModPodge over the top to seal it.

Please contact the person who posted the project you have a question about. This is a public forum and without more info we can't help you. Thanks!!!

I think the lamination would protect it but I wouldnt; get it wet or anything

  • I would think Mod Podge could help you with this project.

To adhere the laminated picture well, I'd suggest using E-6000. Clean up any E-6000 that "squishes" out from beneath the laminated pic, then you might want to Modpodge the entire surface of the plate with a dishwasher proof Modpodge. I'm curious to see your project and hope that you'll post it afterwards.
