We did this as an art project for kids when my daughter was younger. We put a drop or two inside and swirled, then let dry. Then added another color. Some of the colors didn't quite dry and it gave a cool effect.
I couldn't find any hometalk projects on the subject so if you have success, perhaps you would post it as a project.

Hi Bonnie, here's some information about "marbling" clear holiday ornaments, which I believe is the look you are wanting on your glass globes. You could use the same procedure but maybe practice first on ornaments to get the hang of it first. Sounds like fun, whichever you do!
