I'm curious what you are going to use them for! But you'll need barnyard sliding door hardware: https://amzn.to/3dQVoKg
Cardboard will not last on a closet, and like Maura said you still need the hardware. Where do you intend to put them?
Hi! It might work on a dollhouse or playhouse, but, I doubt it would hold up well for daily use in a home. You can build a simple wood door with plywood or reuse a door you have to keep costs down. Good luck and stay safe!
Cardboard will not hold up to being pushed and pulled in the tracks required for sliding doors. I believe you might be referring to hanging barn doors?
Hi, if you can spend just a bit, you can make a hanging door pretty cheap. Here's a link

You need to buy the hardware for it, whether it's made of wood or cardboard.
It might work for a playroom, doll house, or play house, but it wouldn't hold up in a living space
Is this for a room? They are fairly inexpensive and you can use plywood or MDF but I think cardboard is a little too flimsy.

Why would you want to? Sounds like cardboard is too thin for a door. Use plywood.

I’ve seen cardboard formed in all sorts of fascinating ways. You’d really need to figure out how to form it thick and sturdy but generally cardboard is too flimsy for a door.
