Ready for Spring in a Teacup?
Gather China Teacups. One for each place setting.
Fill each cup with soil.
Fill soil to the teacup rim.
Fill each cup with the soil and seed.
Gently cover the seed with soil.
Gently water each cup. Be careful not to disturb the seeds.
A water spray bottle works great.
Set outside in Full Sun. Water daily. And Wait.
Grass seed takes from 7 to 10 days to start growing.
A full cup of lush grass should happen within 21 days.

I love the pretty teacups and other pretty china pieces. All who sit at this table will feel very special. Well worth your time and effort.
No dirt on my table please! I would put cut up marshmallows in the cup bottom. Using green food coloring lighten with water until desired shade, die shredded coconut green for grass on top of marshmallows forming a nest. Add jelly beans for eggs in the nest.

Neat idea, but you can pick up tea cups and saucers at your thrift stores for next to nothing and be supporting something local. Just a thought. They are pretty though.
