Once you get them clean, spray with a weather proofing spray. I use Camp Dry by Kiwi. It's for shoes but works on all types of fabric.
On the cleaning note, I tried at least 3 other cleaners on a chair that my MIL had "ruined". The Campanelli was a hail Mary last ditch effort and worked.

There is a product called No Wet Wonder Foam. Have used on may fabric stains with great success.

Have you tried No Wet Wonder Foam. You use the foam instead of wetting the fabric like spray cleaners.
