Spring Table Centerpiece - Blooming Daffodil Bulbs in Vintage Glasses
Welcome to my yellow and green Spring table! It’s full of vintage glassware and pretty blooming daffodils!
I decided to keep my Spring tablescape fairly simple this year. A simple place setting. A simple centerpiece. My kids helped me set this table and we ate dinner here.
I found these sweet blooming daffodil bulbs last week. I always try to buy a living plant instead of cut flowers if possible. After I'm done with them here, I'll plant them in the yard.
I placed each daffodil bulb into one of my vintage green glass dessert dishes. You may remember them from this Gathered Vintage Spring Tablescape. Vintage green glass dessert glasses are my favorite thing to thrift!
For the daffodils in vintage green glass Spring centerpiece, here's what I used:
- Vintage green glass dessert dishes
- Blooming daffodil bulbs (mine came from Walmart)
- Packaged green moss
To make the centerpiece, first I stretched out some moss and made a little bed of it in the glass.
Then I took the bulb out of its little pot and removed most of the dirt.
Then I set the bulb in the bed of moss and wrapped the moss up and around the top of the bulb.
Some bulbs and glasses needed a little bit more moss added on top of the bulb to stabilize them from falling over.
The vintage green dessert glasses are all different shapes and sizes, but I like that. I set them in a row down the middle of the table.
These aren't meant to be a long lasting planting. If they need to last several days, they will need to be watered.

A beautiful display, especially with the frosty branches peeking through the windows , since you collect them at the thrift stores you could also give them to your guests as a little thank you for their wonderful company.
