You could spray paint them or paint them with chalk paint. You could frame scrapbook paper for a pretty gallery wall: https://momhomeguide.com/scrapbook-paper-art-gallery-wall/
Hi Cqu...., picture frames of any type can be repurpse/upcycled for use in other ways than displaying picutres. Though you asked about brass specificially, the ideas in this link could be used for brass or others such as wood, resin or even plastic. You could paint the brass if you're not enjoying it any longer.

This is a little "off the wall", but here goes. Replace the glass with a sturdy material such as plexiglass, wood or old baking sheet that you have cleaned, painted or covered to compliment the frame. That is, of course you want to keep the frame as is. Then attach two handles on opposite sides of frame. You have a tray to serve your guests in style.
You could use them for a tray or use without art for a fun texture on the wall
here is info including how to paint them

Make them up into pretty holiday wall decorations.
Hi, Sell them on, or tie together to form a collage or maybe stick together to form a lantern or cloche!
You could turn them into small little trays or attach them together to make a box.
