You can add shelves with baskets to the walls. Think bathroom storage. You could even mount a cabinet like the kind people put over the toilet.
What about finding a large wardrobe?
Put up a free standing closet you set it up it has a cover and a zipper
You could do a closet with ventilation and lined with cedar Do one half shelving other half curtain rods
The least expensive thing you could do is suspend a closet rod from the ceiling rafters. Next would be a free-standing coat rack. From there, you can up the cost/skill level moving on to building a closet, hanging shelves, etc. You can also purchase some used dressers and fold everything ala the Marie Kondo method.
How about a wardrobe closet like this: https://amzn.to/3rxybjr
I will have the same problem at our country cabin. What I plan to do, is make a bed with drawers under it, use nice wall hooks and use the drawers in the night stands
and dressers.
buy clothes racks or hang hooks and a line up to hold your clothes buy bins to put them in or use tension rods to hold them- go to a thrift store and buy a dresser or armoire to hold them
We got a huge dresser at our local goodwill when their furniture was 75% off their prices. Many run similar sales thru out the year. Put them on speed dial and call every week and check out their specials or deals.
Most Goodwill organizations should now have their sale dates marked on the calendar on their website. I know the store locations in our state all do.
Here is an idea that saves floor-space, and does not require any construction skills. Hang laundry baskets on shelving brackets:
You could get a hanging rack and hang some then fold the others and put under the bed
If you have a little room, you can get a garment rack from Amazon.
you can buy clear bins at Walmart for your clothes or even small dressers
i would go to ikea and buy nice wardrobe .. they are soo sleek and dont take much space but fit soo much
Suitcases are helpful for out-of-season items. They can be stacked and used just like a bedside table.
Walmart has quite a few metal frame with canvas cover closets very inexpensive.... https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ktaxon-53-Portable-Closet-Storage-Organizer-Wardrobe-Clothes-Rack-with-Shelves-Blue/561128377
or if you prefer something more solid, consider shopping the thrift stores for an old wardrobe or chifferobe usually starting at $100.
Hi,
Use Clear Polythene Storage Boxes, cover with a cloth when not in use and use as a table or tables.

Crate Storage With a New Spin
I had this problem in our last home. I used two parallel plastic storage shelving units, and placed a wire rack shelf in between, across the top of to hang clothes on. So I had shelves, a hanging rack, and some plastic storage drawers, taken apart, fit two deep for undies and things. Took up a whole wall, didn't look too bad, and stored LOTS of clothes.
Have your contractor to build a closet from one corner of the room. Make sure to include shelves and hanging space.
Hello, how about adding some high shelves all around the room. you can also add in a wardrobe or two along one wall to make it look like you have a closet and hide some of the clutter, something like the one below

Sterlite plastic drawers will store a lot.
