how to store knives off the kitchen counter?

You can add a magnetic strip to the wall in the backsplash area or under the cabinets and then attach to the strip. I have mine in the drawer but I don't have many.

You could get a knife holder for the draw it’s flat and they all slide into it I got this one on zulily. But I have seen it on eBay.
You can get something like this $12 drawer insert to store your knives in.
Or you could get a magnetic knife strip like this one for your wall.
A drawer insert would work
IKEA makes a magnetic strip you attach to the wall or cabinet. You can stick the knives to the magnet

Hello. I use a thrift store wooden knife block.
I purchased a wall mount magnetic bar that has a silicone cover. Works really well.
Okay you can all call me paranoid but after seeing a lot of horror movies we all know the first thing the burglar goes for is the knives sitting on the counter. I will not keep knives on the kitchen counter because of this (this is why my shower curtain in clear).
