Is there a way to stabilize a 28 in tv without using provided legs?

    Not realy unless you make some kind of wood with a groove for it to sit in the legs are made so the tv balances on them so it won’t tip over

    The legs are made for the specific tv. Nothing can be made that won't have some type of leg supports.

    We now have all our TVs mounted on the wall. I resisted at first, but, after reading how easily they can be knocked over and having our first granddaughter, it is great. I especially like the ones that swivel so that you can watch from anywhere in the room!

    Hang on the wall, unless you are capable of building a different free-standing mount.

    Everything I find says to mount the TV on the wall using the brackets for this purpose this makes it where it can't be knocked over or pulled off a table, shelf, etc for safety of children or anyone bumping into it. Unless you found some type of box to sit the base down in
