How do I clean kitchen counter tops?

Most likely they have had the top finish degraded from years of cleaning. You can scrub with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide in a paste to get them clean and that should not make any marks. I would use a scrub daddy sponge. Then wipe any residue away with a damp microfiber cloth.

As for the shine, it is most likely gone. Once you get them clean, you could try applying something like polycrylic sealant to see if it would add a lustre to it.

You don’t say what there made of for every surface in. K it hen counters there is a cleaner and sealer.Go to home depot and look in the paint department see if there is something there if not try the section with varnish cleaners .

I have the same problem with my countertops. I might use the Giani marble kit or the granite kit on it.

for stone and corian type countertops they make products to clean and it shines as well you can find them in Home Depot or other stores like that

Depending on the material, you may be able to put a top coat on. Are they laminate?

Sounds as if the finish has gone. You will need a sealer for the sort of tops you have to rectify the problem. or Tile over or replace them.

Jubilee kitchen wax does great on countertops as well

It really depends on what kind of material your counters are made of though it's awful tough to get a shine back once it's gone.

If they are laminate or corian you can try this: Liberally spray an all purpose cleaning soap and let it sit for five minutes, then wipe clean with a microfiber cloth damp with hot water.
