Have a question about this project?
I love the look, but . . . have you ever had a kitchen fire? There is a reason kitchen range hoods are made of metal, and not wood. Flames go up; metal does not burn. Wood does. I am so sorry, but I had to say this, in case anyone else decides to try this. I am going to worry about your kitchen from now on!
I’m actually a very good cook, we don’t buy any oil except avocado and olive oil. And when we do use those things we cook outside on our Blackstone. And it’s not because of the hood it’s because of the grease gets on the cabinets overtime. I’m not worried even a little bit about it ever catching on fire. Worst case scenario we are responsible homeowners and have a fire extinguisher in our pantry which is in our kitchen. I even have one next to my bed, but not because I’m worried my hood is going to catch on fire one day.
Hi, Very Unique, Love It!!!! Where did you find the wreath?
Homegoods 🥰
I Love what you did. I love shiplap to begin with and anywhere one can put the warmth of wood into a home, the better!! Bit of a silly question BUT I assume your "Homemade" sign is metal, how did you hang it on the tiling?
Yes, it’s medal, and I used heavy duty double-sided sticky tape 🥰
