What to do with crosses?
I have about 60 crosses of different shapes, sizes and materials. Would like to use them outside. Don't want to just stick them on a wall or fence. Any suggestions? Thanks.

If you have a patio with a wall they could be displayed there.
You could label part of a garden as dedicated to a family or friend. Attach 1 to the back of a garden bench with a dedication. Or you could use them as a row marker in the garden...peas, beans, etc.
Or check with a local church and see if would be acceptable to place them on graves.
Hello. Creating a framed art piece to mount them on would give them a nice collection presence.
Well if you stick then in the ground - then honestly they will look like grave markers. Can you drill some to some trees? Could you add them to sides of benches? How about use one as a top of a windchime? You could turn them into ornaments and make a cross tree outside that always has them hanging.
Can you take a piece of wood and paint it and then hang the crosses on it and set it upright to display against the house? Will the weather ruin these crosses?
Hi Kim, you can hang them from a branch or even make a mobile using a tin can (here's a tutorial that will give you some ideas on how to do that - https://acraftymix.com/blog/upcycled-denim-wind-chime/)
if you plan to use all 60 of the crosses you will need to take a photo of the yard and then figure out where you can put that many without it being overly crowded- draw it out on paper so you can get an idea of what you want to create
Thank you. But I think if I put that many crosses out it's going to start looking like a grave yard or pet cemetery and I will get a visit from the neighbors and/or police. On the other hand that might be fun.
What if you hung them from a wire to create a banner of crosses
Yes. That is a good idea. Thanks.
