They may suggest you remove what you did and start over to be able to guarantee a proper finish. Honestly, if it were me, I would probably just proceed for lack of better options but I can't encourage that.

Hi Kim, I agree, contact Homax, it should not make much of a difference, but better safe than sorry.

I would do the 2nd coat. Over time it will begin to wear off since you can't bake it.
