DIY Coastal Wreath
Do you love sand dollars and starfishes?? Good, I have the perfect DIY coastal wreath for you to make! It’s super easy and only took me about 10 minutes to make…perfect right?!!
For the base of the wreath I’m using an 18 inch angel moss wreath that I had on hand. I found it at craftoutlet.com, they are my go to for unique supplies that I can’t find anywhere else…and they have great prices.
You could use a regular grapevine wreath and some craft moss to achieve the same look as my wreath
I’m using only 3 things to make this coastal wreath: sand dollars and 2 sizes of starfish.
The natural color starfish and the sand dollars I picked up at a local shop and the small white ones were from Amazon.
The small resin starfish and the sand dollars were too white and looked unnatural, so I gave them a quick spray of Rustoleum textured paint that I had leftover from another project.
Using a hot glue gun, I started by attaching a sand dollar in the middle of the right side of the wreath ( at 3 o’clock)
Then below the first sand dollar I hot glued the larger starfish on backwards.
On top of the backwards starfish I glued on the smaller starfish. I repeated this pattern working clockwise around the wreath.
This wreath is so quick to make! It took me less than 10 minutes to glue everything on.
Then it was time to hang it up on the front door and get ready for Summer!!
This DIY coastal wreath would look so pretty over a mantle too.
