    What kind of soil has to be used? And should there be something under for drainage? One more thing, where can I get succulents in my area, Detroit, Michigan? Thanks?

    I have that same exact bird bath and living in this Az. heat you can't keep water in it as it evaporates so fast. This is what I end up doing with mine to. Great idea.

    Can you leave the sedums outside in the fall and winter?
