The paint is my laundry room (!blue) is too bright and i didn’t see

Hi Linda, have you accessorized and fully moved in to your laundry room yet? Sometimes a paint can feel like too much if there is nothing else in the room to compare it with.

Add decor with mostly black & white to tone it down. Wallpaper one wall would be another solution.

USE NEUTRAL FURNITURE AND ACCESSORIES TO TONE DOWN SOME OF THE COLOR

Adding more neutral accessories and decor to the room with white, black, and gray will help absorb and neutralize the hue. You are basically toning down the color in the room. This could be done with larger pieces like furniture or smaller accessory items (if you have checked amazon they have some adorable items to hang on the laundry room wall like huge safety pins and 1 long clothes pins).

You could do a white wash or glaze over the blue with watered down white paint to tone it down.

Hello it’s frustrating. I had a yellow that was too bright. Sometimes another paint job can be very satisfying vs trying to make it work with a faux finish wash or glaze. A wallpaper or paneled accent wall could be other options.

You don't have a lot of options. Laundry rooms are usually small. Repaint. Only other option I see it to stencil different color so it is not so obvious and that takes a lot of time.

Hi Linda, you could paint one wall a neutral color, or stencil neutral colors on the visible parts of the blue walls, one other idea, you could hang flat sheets over the painted walls in neutral colors (no painting) Just pin the sheets to the walls
