You know me and you know I love DIYs. In addition to that, I love creating EASY DIYs. This particular one, I believe, is one of the easiest I have made thus far. As a result, I feel as if this oven mitt craft will be very simple to recreate. Let’s finally get into how to make it!

Firstly, you’ll need these materials; a hot glue gun, an oven mitt, fake flowers, ribbon, scissors, tags, and tissue paper.

To begin, you’ll want stuff the tissue paper into the mitt.

Next, stick the fake flowers into the mitt, making sure to pierce the tissue paper. In addition, if any flower stems are too long, trim them down.

Continuing, you’ll want to create your ribbon. To do this, loop how big you want the bow to be and cut at the end.

In addition to creating the bow, you’ll want to create the end of the bow. Do this by measuring out how long you want the tails to be, then trim a diagonal detailing.

Furthermore, once you’ve cut your bow to your liking, you’ll attach the pieces with a pipe cleaner. Make sure to leave the excess pipe cleaner.

Finally, attach your bow to the center of your oven mitt using the excess pipe cleaner from before. This is where you can attach a tag with a name on it to give it as a gift.

The finished product is absolutely gorgeous to me. Again, it’s super easy to create and could be a lovely gift. In this circumstance, I made it as a gift to Mom but this could be a beautiful gift to a sister, friend or anyone else who loves flowers!

"bloom where you are planted;" a great idea for someone who has moved either away from you, or to your neighborhood as a welcome to our neighborhood gift. So clever!
