How do you clean your tennis shoes?
I have a wonderful pair of tennis shoes with the mesh fabric top that is getting dirty. How do I clean these white shoes without putting in the washer and possibly ruining them?

I would suggest to use a carpet/upholstery spot cleaning product. The attached brush is a convenient feature. After the shoes are cleaned and dried, I recommend to use a protective spray, which will help the fabric to repel dirt, and to reduce staining.
Product examples below:
I use white toothpaste (not gel) and a damp toothbrush. A dab of toothpaste on a damp toothbrush and gently brush letting it foam up. Wipe off with a damp cloth. Repeat if necessary. Also works on copper, brass, gold, porcelain, ceramics, plastics, etc.
After you clean them give them a coating spray of stain repellent. There are numerous ones online. This keeps the shoes from getting stained in the first place.
Hi! I use a stiff brush to get off the dirt, then wash with a microfiber cloth and a magic eraser. I just use a little liquid hand soap. They clean right up. If something doesn't come out, I use a little Oxiclean dissolved in warm water . Good luck!
Iāll bet you could use Folex cleaner on them. Spray in on and wipe off.m the dirt. I love it for upholstery cleaning and thatās pretty much what shoes are. :)
Magic eraser
I use Oxyi Clean sometimes you can put them in washer with a towel.
I have white mesh sneakers that I put in the machine on hand wash, cold, gentle spin If they're not that dirty I just regular detergent. I never throw them in alone though, I alway toss them in with a two beach towels and never dry them. I also don't use bleach, it can yellow them.

I have cleaned my sneakers in the washer on gentle cycle in cold water. Then fill them with newspaper to soak up water and leave them in the sun to dry.
I use a bit of Oxiclean in the washer on cold. Air dry.
I have always put my sneakers in the washer. I use the gentle cycle with a little Tide and Oxi-Clean. Always set them outside to dry. Never had a problem.

Hello I hand wash in a sterilite bin with dawn or soak in an oxiclean solution if soiling is excessive. Air dry.
I use a Mr. Clean magic eraser on the rubber parts. I then toss them into the washing machine and let them dry on a rack in the sun.
I use krud kutter
Hi. You've already done right with not putting shoes into a washer. Use a stiff brush and gently wipe them with warm soapy water, or like was said, Oxiclean would do its job correctly. My mother used to sink them in the tub in warm, not too hot, and then let them dry at room temperature away from sunbeam. I had a similar situation with my yeezy boost 350. I was afraid of ruining them, and it was nothing helpful written on instruction. That's why I limited myself by simply wiping with warm soapy water.
