How would i add a wall divider,partition,etc to my living room area?

Im a renter and want to add a wall divider,partition to my living room area near my front door.if you can imagine walking into a front door if your home and seeing all of your living room then straight forward the dining area etc.i want to block the living room space from my front door with a renter friendly wall,room divider.maybe hanging from ceiling or sliding doors but secure enough to the wall, ceiling,even the floor with minimal screwing.can someone give me some ideas.

What about a dividing screen? They work great and are super easy. You could make it out of old shutters or bifolds.

I would get a room divider screen and anchor it to the wall on one side.

Put a large, tall piece of furniture as a divider.
Bookcases or folding screens are the most renter-friendly ways to accomplish this as they're not attached to anything. You could hang curtains from the ceiling though you'd have to patch holes later. I would not screw or attach anything to a floor as that's not as easily fixed.
Maybe use a hall tree that has a high back and you could hang coats on like in white and one that has a bench on it that would work as a divider if you need more get 2 and position them so the hall way is closed off when you walk in like a ell shape
Simple. If you have a favorite tall dresser? Or, a hall table? Set them as if against a wall where you'd like one to be.
Then from the ceiling to drop behind it? A rattan shade.
Promise you, I've done this for clients. They loved the outcome. It feels like a wall, not just a partition. Very grounded.
