What can I plant

I suppose a lot of what you plant will depend on your zone and whether or not you want a perennial or an annual in the pots, however, I always line the bottom of our concrete planters with pebbles to help with drainage. It works wonders.

I've had good results by placing rocks in the bottom of pots with no drain holes, then placing a plastic pot with drain holes planted with a plant that grows well in my zone. This summer in hot AZ, zincas are working very well. Perhaps you can find a perennial that will thrive year round in your setting and plant as I mentioned.

Hi! I actually sit a smaller pot inside the larger one. Makes it easier to keep them drained properly, plus easy to change. I've grown morning glories and pansies in mine. Basically I just place rocks in the lower container and sit the smaller container on top of them.

You can drill out the bottom so they will drain. Add either gravel or empty soda cans beneath the soil to encourage drainage.

To drill a hole in the bottom get a glass bit. Put tape on the bottom and drill thru the tape so the planter does not crack.

Are these indoor or out? Either way, you can drill holes. If you don’t have the appropriate tools, your local home improvement store offers them for rent.

I use mine all the time now I have wild flowers in mine put pansies in yours they bloom all sommer pinch off dead ones new ones come back

Hello, either make holes in bottom or make drainage by adding gravel or other stuff in base first, then add compost. Small tree maybe or use it as a Pot plant cover - so you pop a potted plant in there. Easy to remove if you fancy a change.

Go to home depot or a plant place see what catches your eye make sure you get a perennial so it will come back each year.
