For anyone who is not familiar with what wave shades are, the first picture below shows an example. These are usually retractable.

We have added Netlon plastic mesh on top of all our Pergolas and have plants growing up and over to provide shade.

Use a tarp and string it up from the holes with bungee cloths they come in diffrent colors and sizes
