How do you clean outdoor cushion sponges with out dry cleaning them?

What I meant was my patio cushions , have large sponges inside their covers

I have never washed them before & I didn't have any instructions as how I could have them cleaned besides soaking them in my bath tub with a mild soap . Just hope it's worth the trouble to clean them unless the sponge just disintegrates ?

If you haven't done so already, the exterior of the cushions can be sprayed with a sealant to protect it from spills and some weather. Scotchgard makes a good product.

I remove the covers and spritz with Odoban. Then air dry. It is a disinfectant as well as an odor destroyer.

Hi! If the cover isn't removable, I get out a bucket of soapy water and a scrub brush (I like the soft bristle ones from the dollar store). First I brush them or vacuum them off, so I don't start with mud. Then, hose them off, and scrub with your soapy water. I like Dawn dish detergent for the soap. Do you have Resolve spray? It's great for stains that are resistant!! Dry in the sun after a good rinse. Good luck!
