Constant crickets 12 hours a day?
I cannot seem to find the source of the constant cricket chirping. They start late at night and go through the next day. It is constant...no stopping at all and it's driving me nuts. I can't seem to find where it is and suspect it's also a nest of crickets. I don't know what this is. But it's not the occasional cricket chirp.

Linda,
Is this happening in/under your house or outside? Here are a couple resources that might help:

Here's another trap! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kl_H2cmUebc In my research it does look like you can buy traps on Amazon too that have really good reviews. We had crickets this year for the first time I can remember, I think its been the dry weather that caused them. Wow can they just drive a person crazy!

Hi Linda, so sorry to hear that. It must be so frustrating. This article explains why it's difficult to pin point where the sound is coming from and gives a whole bunch of tips of how to get rid of them too - https://www.prevention.com/life/a33862986/how-to-get-rid-of-crickets/
We had what I thought was a cricket problem but it turned out to be cockroaches. I thought that only crickets made a chirping noise.
Roaches make noises for different reasons. Sometimes, noises are made during courtship and mating. This is called ‟stridulation,” where a chirping sound is produced by the male rubbing its pronotum against its costal veins. In other instances, cockroach noises are produced during an interaction where the insect feels threatened. Typically, this occurs between two or more male roaches, but just about any animal or insect can cause the threat. If you have an infestation, these sounds can intensify as the roaches encounter each other inside of your walls and throughout your home. For homeowners who have experienced this, the chirping is both annoying and chilling.

What worked for us was to use the cardboard sticky traps (available at Walmart-a packet of 5-6), open them up and lay them flat for more surface area. Crickets seem to travel along the walls and corners, behind items such as doors, put them there.
Most likely you have an area in a crawl space where they have built a nest. I would suggest boric acid or diatomaceous earth to get rid of them.

It’s mating season that’s them scratching there legs together
I found this for how to get rid of a cricket you can't find...Take a can of beer and empty its contents, leaving behind just a few drops. Place the can lying on its side in the area where you've seen or heard the noise. Crickets are attracted to the sweetness and strong smell of beer. They will crawl into the can to get to the drops left inside.
Hello Linda,
Is it mating season? Maybe move home or close all windows and doors, or invest in triple glazing etc.
Hello Linda, you can't really stop the crickets, but you could add some of your own white noise with a machine that makes them or a fan or other smooth running item, i sleep by rainfall every night,
