Fix sun damaged ikea xChair?

My chair has turned from birch to black where the sun has beat down on it. I know I asked once before & was told to use fine steel wool but I can’t remember the before or after, why or how long

Clean with TSP. If it is still dark, you can lightly "sand" with fine steel wool. Go with the grain of the wood and sand only until you see results and then stop. Once you get it to the correct tone, wipe down and seal.
Doing what Kathy Gunter Law suggests and you can use Hydrogen Peroxide to bleach the wood after sanding. People have used it to bleach black pet stains from hardwood floors.
use 000 or 0000 steel wool also contact IKEA maybe they will replace the chair? you could also paint the chair

You could also seal the wood when you're done to protect it further. Many sealers have a UV blocker in them.

Use. A scrub brush and dish soap and hot water and scrub it it will come clean

Just start rubbing the steel wool. Perhaps try in a spot that cant be easily seen as a test. A good sanding and re finish would be another choice
You could also try a water pressure washer
If your chair is changing color due to exposure to light, contact the manufacturer.
Hello, you can try to clean it up with vinegar and water, or paint it then clean coat it to prevent sun damage
