living at the beach more recently I really wanted to try to use some beautiful driftwood pieces my kids have found! This month I decided to make a lace ribbon wall hang with drift wood!

If you are looking for an adorable DIY to do, this is a great option!

All you need is a piece of driftwood, or stick of some kind, ribbons, I love the lace look, and ✂️ Cutters!

Attaché whatever piece of string you want to use to hang it with. Here I chose to use the lace, but later on decided to use twine!

Hang it while you do it, so you can get a sense of how long you want to hang your ribbons.

I tied the strings strategically in places I felt looked best. I used cream and white ribbons

Than I addd some twine to give it some more texture

the nice thing about this diy project, is there are so many different ways you can make it your own!

I can’t wait to see where this will end up! I thinks it’s the perfect decor for a small bathroom!!

I loved your idea and used it with a twist. I don’t like curtains and blinds are not easy to hang in these windows so I made a sort of curtain and loved the look.

    thanks

Omlord!! Genius idea. I, too can’t do blinds/curtains. I currently am trying the lace material mod podged on the window, but your idea gives inspiration! Simple yet beautiful!
