'Forever in Bloom' Hydrangeas on a Ladder... Go Better With Coffee
You can tell it's nearing the end of summer at my place due to the patio alone.
My poor neglected flower bucket was a shrivelled up mess. Every morning I go out there with my coffee, I have to turn away to avoid looking in that direction. Dead flowers do not go great with fresh brew...
And then a miracle happened! (they do it every year but it's miraculous to catch them doing it) My neighbours were pruning their hydrangea bush, and before a petal could hit the turf, I asked if I could have the cuts.
I put them right to work on that patio ladder. And wow... what a happy statement it makes now! And a much nicer way to enjoy my coffee...
Here's what I did with all those amazing hydrangea cuts...

My forever beautiful buckets of hydrangeas on a ladder are abundant and gorgeous! And go way better with morning coffee...
Here's the very sad, tired and shrivelled up before. I nearly have the blues just looking at that thing.
When neighbours cut, you sprint! And sprint I did. I gathered all the hydrangea cuts, and placed them in big buckets of water until I could cart them off to destinations unknown.

Thanks Douglas! Isn't it a powder of some sort that is added to the soil to change the color of the hydrangea? Maybe lime? I rather like my white hydrangea as it is in a dark, shady area of my garden and all the flowers are white and glow at night! It is rather pretty.

I use my hydrangas flowerets in my Xmas tree as a filler , can even spray any color you wish
