DIY Woodsy Fall Wreath

With the first day of Autumn just around the corner, I decided I’d better update my front door wreath before I miss my window of opportunity and find myself in Halloween territory! Each season, I take the same bare twig wreath and just wire on different elements to create different looks. This way, it saves me money, plus I don’t have to deal with storing multiple wreaths. Win-win!
This year, since it’s still 80 degrees where I live, I don’t quite yet feel in the mood for Fall reds, yellows, and oranges. Instead, I decided to go with natural elements using twigs, pinecones, and greenery…plus a pumpkin or two.
You can see all of the steps to make this, plus a look at how this same wreath looks for Fall, Springs, etc. on my blog. Also find out how to make this fancy burlap bow and my secret way of hanging the wreath on my front door!
I use this same bare twig wreath all year round and just add different elements depending on the season or holiday.
Supplies. Start with a bare twig wreath and wire on different Fall elements. I didn't cut any of the floral stems so that I can use them later for floral arrangements or other decor.
A look at last year's Fall wreath.
