Outdoor deck in Birmingham, AL

This was a plain deck at my old house in AL that wasn't very exciting until I decided to do a little makeover on it with outdoor wicker, new cushions, rug, a yardsale umbrella and it turned into a cozy retreat that was very fun to hang out in. I used lots of yardsale finds too. I don't live in this house anymore, but I'm getting ready to move in a new house this fall and all of this wicker will go on my new screened porch! What a beautiful space. I totally agree, adding an outdoor rug gives those outdoor spaces such a 'roomy' feel.
