Master Bathroom Makeover

We brought our 1965 bathroom into 2014! When we moved into our home 8 years ago, we were faced with ugly yellow tile, sink, and toilet. We had to make do...until NOW! No more yellow - and we're in love! We went with the classics - subway tile, beadboard, marble, pedestal sink, so hopefully decades from now, it'll still look as timeless and lovely as it does today! A few weeks and our bathroom went from this to this...
I swear it feels SO much bigger now!

Instead of a medicine cabinet, we chose floating shelves with baskets. The lack of storage scared me at first, but it's forced us to downsize and de-clutter. I'm actually loving it, and it really opens up the tiny room.
Fell in love with the lines of this 1920s style pedestal sink, and how the edges aren't sharp. Perfect, since you walk right by it to hop in the shower.
Hard to believe it's the same room!
We're in love!
