Not really a question but I wanted to congratulate Miriam and team on seeing Hometalk.com get a mention on the Forbes website. http://www.forbes.com/sites/mattmiller/2012/07/17/spilled-wine-on-the-carpet-just-ask-hometalk-how-to-clean-it/ I hope you folks continue to keep the site rolling along as you're on to something special here.

You're welcome. I used to sort of talk about home stuff on Facebook and I'm not much of a personal blogger anymore so I'm glad I finally registered with HomeTalk after hearing about it during the Winter via The MoneyPit podcast. I think it's awesome that the site continues to evolve and is right now, a cross between Facebook and Pinterest. Both services are winning combinations so it's great to see a site dedicated to specific niche that combines the best of both worlds.

Congratulations! This is a awesome site and service that you provide. I told someone just this morning, that like and use pinterest but I love Hometalk much more because to me it applies to everyday life! Thanks again!

Ditto what Jeff said. I belong to another very large online forum, though it's a great site for information it's desperately in need of updating. I'm very happy Shampine had the initiative to come up with this site. Just wish I would have heard of it sooner.

I was just telling a friend about how I feel it's a combination b/n Facebook and Pinterest. But this is better because you get feedback from people who actually know their stuff!! :) Love it!
