{Knock Off} Anthropologie B & W Hooks

Knock off projects are some of my favorite projects to complete and my latest Anthropologie knock off project is by far my favorite! I'm all about saving money, so when I found the perfect knob to replicate the popular black and white Anthro hooks, I was thrilled.
I frequently shop at Goodwill looking for household items that can be updated and transformed. The hooks that I found ended up being $3.00 for the pair. It was a deal I just couldn't pass up!
I started by removing the hooks from the board, which I then washed and dried.
I used frog tape to mark off lines
I then used black craft paint to paint the black lines.
After the paint was dry, I covered the hooks in two coats to polyurethane to keep them chipping.
I think they turned out exactly like Anthropologies version. The best part, they only cost $1.50 a hook compared to $18.00!
