Backyard Clean-up

This area was in desperate need of a little TLC! Weeded out the trees and replaced some of the scrub oak with a few pine trees and plants to make it look lush and livable without having too much contuined work. I figure once the pine trees grow in more I can cut more of the Scrub Oak out. It's like a weed and never stops sprouting new trees!
What a mess!
Cut out weeds and sprayed with weed killer. Also, laid weed barrier down.
Completed
Pine trees moved into open spaces before weed barrier was put down.
AHHH
This all looks SO much more inviting!

As for the oaks, looks like the bulk of improvement was Pruning UP the main trunk, so low lying branches are gone, and Light gets to the ground.... a major improvement in itself!
