Green Bean Plants

I have a container veggie garden. On some of my green bean plants there is a white fuzzy looking substance. Does anyone know what it is and how I can get rid of it if it is hurting my plants. I am in Florida and it has been raining a lot. I do not know if that has anything to do with the substance. Thank you.

Can you post a photo? I don't really have any idea, but somebody might be able to help you more if you post a photo.

It could be a number of things, although most are associated with cooler temperatures, which we are certainly not having. It would definitely be best if you can post a photo. If you can't, take a sample of the white fuzzy part (sealed in a plastic bag) to the Pinellas County Cooperative Extension office in Largo.
