DIY Outdoor Bar Table

by Kristin Kennedy
Create a quick and easy drop-down bar table outside with old fence posts or pallets.
To create the table, create a "sandwich" effect with the fence posts and secure together with outdoor screws. To hide the sandwich effect of the boards, trim it out using a 1x2 board and secured with a nail gun to each side.
Screw a 1x4 (or 1x3) board onto the siding of the house directly into studs to give the table something solid to be secured into.
The table is secured to the wall using hinges and chains.
Outdoor screws are used for the hinges as well.
Secure an eye hook into the stud, then hook the chain to the eye hook using a carabiner.
When the table is not in use it can be folded up using an eye hook latch.
