Halloween Party Decoration

I decided to make my own Halloween paper lantern with some left over white lanterns I had laying around. I love Halloween, so I am all about making DIY decorations!
I started by spray painting my paper lantern with black spray paint. I'm sure you can purchase paper lanterns that are already black, but since I had one already, AND I had spray paint, why spend money?
I found all my Halloween decorating items in the Halloween aisle at the craft store.
In order to make my sparkly bats stick out, I folded it in half and attached the hot glue in the middle of the bat before placing it on the paper lantern.
I only added decorations on one side of the paper lantern. When you do this, the weight of the decorations will cause your paper lantern to lean. To combat this, I glued two black stones to the inside of the lantern, across from the decorations. Problem solved!
I hope you enjoyed this easy tutorial. For more Halloween ideas, visit my website http://www.hiphiphalloween.com. Thank you.
Here is a really easy Halloween paper lantern I made by cutting out bats with black construction paper. I hot glued them onto a white paper lantern, and there you go!
