How can I remove padding residue from a hardwood floor after removing carpet? Is there a product for that?

The best I can do right now is suggest a glue remover.Perhaps google;" glue solvent"It depends on what glue was used to glue the pad down,

Most of the time the padding is simply stuck on. Taking a nylon scrubbing pad, used for Teflon pans and some Murphy's oil soap you should be able to remove the residue with a little elbow grease and not harm the hardwood floor in the process.
