Yard Sale finds make their way home

I picked up these little "tables" at a yard sale for 10$ and this coffee table at the local thrift shop. Both with the plan to paint them for a friend's new home. We had been talking about adding some color to her living room and they seemed like great pieces to use as accents without putting color on the walls.

I have a piece of round smoked glass that was formerly part of macramé hanger, any suggestions as to what it can be used for?
